PROJECT TITLE: A RAPID JOINT BY ALTERNATIVE PROCESSES
Project Code: ERA-MANUNET-JFAST-2
Total value of the contract: 115.000,00 EUR
Budget funding: 81.000,00 EUR
Nano Inteliform’s contribution: 34.000,00 EUR
ABSTRACT:
Within this project, the applicant companies will develop new products and services for diverse industrial areas such as power generation, automotive or appliances. These products rely on new tools and processes such as friction drilling, friction stir welding, form tapping, and others. These have been studied from a scientific point of view, but the industrial companies have not yet profited from these advances in machining.
J-FAST project aims to develop new technologies mainly based on form processes to enhance the unions between dissimilar materials. These unions are very common in industrial sectors such as automotive, power generation or appliances.
ESTIMATED RESULTS:
- Cost savings for the final end user.
- Improve the market position of the industrial partners.
- Place participating research centers in a state of the art position.
